Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Our representative will pick you up from Cairo International Airport (CAI) and transfer you to your hotel in a private car. Enjoy the rest of your day in leisure and stroll around the city.

Day 2: Cairo Tour

After breakfast, our journey kicks off in the lively, tumultuous, and perpetually intriguing metropolis of Cairo. Begin your journey at the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, which loom large as protectors of history. To explore history more thoroughly, head to the Egyptian Museum, home to the golden treasures of Tutankhamun.

In the evening, immerse yourself in the vibrant Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where the aroma of spices fills the air and each shop contains a concealed gem.

Full from breakfast, we explore Islamic Cairo, starting with the Salah El-Din Citadel and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali. Wander through the narrow streets of Old Cairo, visiting the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue,where ancient religions intertwine.

Day 4: Transfer to Alexandria

Take an early morning train to Alexandria, where the Mediterranean breeze welcomes you. Begin at the iconic Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a modern tribute to the lost wonders of the ancient world. Stroll along the Corniche, stopping by the Citadel of Qaitbay, a fortress built from the remains of the Lighthouse of Alexandria.

Dive into the eerie underground world of the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, where Greco-Roman and Egyptian traditions merge in stone-carved tombs. Wrap up your day at Montaza Palace and Gardens, a royal retreat where the sea meets lush greenery.

Return to Cairo in the evening by train.

Day 5: Transfer to Aswan

Take a morning flight or an overnight sleeper train to Aswan, where you can experience Nubian culture and breathtaking scenery. Visit the Philae Temple, a charming sanctuary devoted to Isis, reachable only by boat. Afterward, take an hour to stop at the Unfinished Obelisk and observe an ambitious ancient endeavor that has been frozen in time.

When the sun starts to go down, enjoy a classic one-hour felucca ride on the Nile, sailing by Elephantine Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum.

Day 6: Aswan and transport to Nile Cruise

The following morning, get up prior to dawn for an awe-inspiring trip to Abu Simbel, home to monumental statues of Ramses II that stand boldly against the passage of time.  Make a brief stop at the Aswan High Dam for a panoramic view, and check out Kalabsha Temple located by the shores of Lake Nasser.  Embark on a lavish Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor (3–4 days, with stops at important temples en route) and sail into the heart of ancient Egypt. As an alternative, choose the scenic train from Aswan that takes three hours.

Day 7: Nile Cruise- Heading to Luxor

As you embark on your journey to the Kom Ombo Temple, a unique double temple honoring Sobek (the crocodile god) and Horus, awaken to the gentle sway of the cruise. Also explore the Crocodile Mummy Museum.

Following lunch on the boat, keep cruising toward Edfu Temple, which is among the most well-preserved temples in Egypt. Admire its towering pylons and intricate carvings.

Pass the remainder of the afternoon on the sun deck, taking in the sunset over the Nile as the cruise makes its way to Luxor.

Day 8: Luxor- Hot Air Balloon Ride

Upon arrival, discover the Valley of the Kings, home to the tomb of Tutankhamun. Explore the breathtaking cliff-side Temple of Hatshepsut, admire the towering Colossi of Memnon, and enjoy a tranquil afternoon immersed in the enchanting surroundings. As the day draws to a close, take in your last Egyptian sunset and let the burdens of history permeate your being. Wander through the souls of Luxor and grab some last-minute souvenirs.

Day 9: Cultural Exploration of Luxor

Disembark the cruise in the morning and head to Luxor Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site to see the Avenue of Sphinxes, the First Pylon, and the Roman Camp.  Then, explore the Karnak Temple which boasts the magnificent Great Hypostyle Hall with its enormous columns, the sacred lake, soaring obelisks, majestic pylons, and detailed hieroglyphs that showcase the splendor of ancient Egypt. Both of these temples are dedicated to the Theban Triad: Amun (god of the sun and air), Mut (the mother goddess), and Khonsu (the moon god).

If time permits, visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization to see real royal mummies.

Flight back to Cairo in the evening.
